How a 156-year-old farm came back full-circle to radically traditional farming? Over the past twenty years, White Oak Pastures has turned itself into one of the largest — if not the largest — pasture-raised livestock operation in the entire nation. But they’re not stopping there. The team at White Oak Pastures believes there should be at least one resilient food production system in every agricultural county in the United States of America. So in 2021, they launched The Center for Agricultural Resilience (CFAR) to educate thought leaders on the environmental, economic and social benefits of building resilient animal, plant and human ecosystems that can nourish communities.
